• tilapia, seasoned with cumin, smoked paprika, chipotle pepper, + pink salt; then air-fried at 390 for 15 min
• organic black beans
• shredded coleslaw mix (minus the dressing)
• diced tomato
• fresh cilantro
• lots of hot sauce

• organic romaine lettuce
• leftover “instant pot chicken” (recipe’s back on my feed)
• shredded carrots
• a diced @peteandgerrys hard boiled egg
• 2 stalks organic celery, diced
• 4 organic cherry tomatoes, halved
•  1 slice @applegate uncured turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
• 1/2 a mini avocado, diced

Even though I’m not a dressing girl, I did toss this is a little @skinnygirlbrand honey Dijon dressing. 👌

Super easy CHICKEN COBB SALAD to close out this manic Monday. 🥗 . WHAT...

@fit_n_clean_mama Took my matcha + english muffin duo out on the back porch this morning.. 🍵😌 I wanted to enjoy the 72 degree weather before it hacks back up to 95 in a few hours. ☀️😳

WHAT WENT DOWN:
• @canyonglutenfree honey english muffin, toasted
• @pbfit.official powdered PB (mixed with about 1 Tbsp water till it got creeeamy)
• local bee pollen (great for allergies! 🤧)
• @salbachia dark chocolate chia seeds
• matcha-collagen latte: 12 oz hot water, 1 tsp @matchalove, 1 tsp maca root powder, 2 scoops @ancientnutrition vanilla multi-collagen, + 4 oz @califiafarms toasted coconut milk - blended on low for 60 sec and then high for 3-5 sec)

WHAT WENT DOWN:
• leftover @perduechicken extra lean ground chicken, seasoned with @freshjax pepper habanero spice (use code FITNCLEAN for a discount)
• couple handfuls of zoodles
• @pomiusa diced tomatoes
• 1-1.5 tsp @bigtreefarmsbali coconut aminos
• handful of shitake mushrooms
• lots of fresh cilantro
.
Add the kale, mushrooms, + zoodles to a pan sprayed with @chosenfoods.
Cook 3-5 min. Add chicken, tomatoes, + coconut aminos. Cook till warmed thru. Transfer to plate and garnish with cilantro. 🍀
.
Not gonna say it’s been an easy day - these kids have been WORKIN’ US. 😳 BUT their sweet little prayers at the end of the day (“tank you for da best mommy and daddy in da whole una-burse” 😭) totally made all the 🤯 worth it.

@fit_n_clean_mama Breakfast was a repeat of this yummy SWEET POTATO BROWNIE MUG CAKE 🧁 Buuut the natural lighting didn’t wanna cooperate today 😏 so this throwback pic will have to do. 😉

I went through a period of time after I had Reid that I legit ate a mug cake every single day (if not for breakfast then for a snack) for a few months. And rightly so, bc they’re so dang tasty!! And easy. And you know I love me some easy meals. 🙌
.
WHAT WENT DOWN:
• 1 whole egg
• 1/2 small steamed/cooled sweet potato (about 50g)
• 1 scoop @nuzest_usa rich chocolate clean lean protein
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• enough almond milk to mix it all together
• 1 Tbsp @enjoylifefoods mini chocolate chips
.
Mix everything together till well combined, adding a little almond milk till a thick batter forms. Pour 1/2 the batter in a sprayed ramekin/mug; add 1/2 of the chocolate chips. Pour in remaining batter and top with remaining chocolate chips. Microwave on high for 60 seconds. Then grab a spoon and dig in! 🥄

I started making these years ago and my whole family LOVES them. They’re perfect for a sweet bite after dinner or just a quick snack when you’re busy running around. They don’t have to be kept in the freezer, but we def prefer the super cold bite when they are. 👌

I usually try to post recipes on here for you guys to make things easier, but I’m just whooped tonight. 😴 Sooo you can snag the recipe on my blog (posted eons ago) - link will be in my bio. Feel free to change things up and sub dried fruit for the chocolate chips, ground chia seeds for the flax seeds, etc. Mix it up! 🤙

@fit_n_clean_mama If you broke me down into a pie chart, I would be made up of 50% fries, 30% nut butter, + 20% tacos. 🍟🥜🌮 Not a bad ratio, if you ask me. 😝

WHAT WENT DOWN:
• smoked sausage (from back home - my day parents always hook me up when they come to visit 😉)
• sweet potato fries
• not pictured: a small side salad with spinach, shredded carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, a diced boiled egg, + red wine vinegar as my dressing
.
FOR THE FRIES: Wash and cut sweet potatoes into thin fries (leaving skin on). Spray with @chosenfoods avocado oil and season liberally with @primalpalate meat + potato seasoning (I’m obsessed!). Toss well to coat. Bake on the bottom rack at 450 for 20 min. Then crank it up to broil (high) and cool for another 3-5 min, watching closely. Sprinkle with fresh parsley to make em purdy. 😊

• zoodles + cherry tomatoes, sautéed in a pan sprayed with @chosenfoods + seasoned with a little pink salt and pepper
• steamed french cut green beans seasoned with the same

It’s ok if you lick the screen - I totally would, too. 👅 This egg + turkey bacon sammie was out. of. BOUNDS. 💯 And wrapped up perfectly so I could eat it in route to the tater tots’ schools. 🚙
.
WHAT WENT DOWN:
• @mikeys original grain-free English muffin, toasted twice (so it doesn’t get soggy before I have a chance to eat it)
• 2 egg whites, scrambled
• 1 slice uncured turkey bacon
• lots of fresh cilantro (can sub spinach if you don’t like cilantro)
.
Cook the turkey bacon over med/high heat till crisp. Remove from pan and add egg whites. Allow to cook without touching for 1 min, then gently fold inwards from the outer edges with a baking spatula until they’re folded in the middle of the pan. Allow to cook another min or until whites are set. Stack everything together and then wrap with parchment paper (thanks @pinterest for the tutorial 🤓). Cut in half and then try not to go into a food coma while eating it. 😴🥰

@fit_n_clean_mama May I present to you...SEARED SCALLOPS + CAULI/SWEET POTATO “RICE” with...BACON 🥓 Oh yeah, I went there. 💁‍♀️
.
The traditional combo of scallops + bacon is to have them actually wrapped in the bacon. BUT: 1) I’m a rebel, and want to do my own thang 😉, and 2) I like my bacon DONE and my scallops juuuust cooked, which means I needed to cook them separately.
.
I don’t mind at all - esp bc this side dish turned out with most AMAZING sweet and salty flavors from the sweet potato + bacon. And then the best soft and crunchy texture from the sautéed veggies + crisp bacon. Gah. 🤤
.
WHAT WENT DOWN:
• 4 @butcher_box wild-caught sea scallops
• 2 slices @butcher_box uncured, apple smoked bacon
• 1 frozen bag riced sweet potato/cauliflower
• handful or two of kale
.
Warm a skillet over med/high heat. Add bacon and cooked till nice and crisp (about 5 min), turning halfway. Remove from pan. Add scallops and cook till golden brown on one side (about 2 min); turn and cook another 1-2 min. Remove from pan. Add cauli/sweet potato rice, kale, + a couple dashes of @primalpalate meat + potato seasoning; sauté for 5-7 min or under veggies are tender.
.

They save me SO much time on busy mornings, and not to mention, they taste friggin’ AMAZING! So there’s that.
.
WHAT WENT DOWN:
• 1/2 C @bobsredmill quick cooking oats
• 1/2 Tbsp @salbachia chia seeds
• 6 oz (1/2 a bottle) @drinkkoia cacao bean protein drink (soooo good 🤤)
.
Put everything in a jar with a lid. Shake it up. Refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hrs). Then stir and add some more goodies - like I did here with the strawberries + @rxbar chocolate PB. 💯

Yes, you can still do planks while pregnant or struggling with a low back issue or weak core WITH the correct modifications. 👉🔑 The key is to ENGAGE YOUR CORE throughout the entire moment - even though you’re giving yourself a little break with the modification. Here are some variations for the most common moves:
• FRONT PLANK: bird dog (above), both knees on ground, both knees hovering over ground, one knee slightly touching the floor, or on your elbows (if you have wrist problems)
• SIDE PLANK: legs bent at 90 def and knees stacked on top of each other, bottom knee on floor (leg bent), or on elbows (again, for wrist problems)
