On top of my new morning routine I have been working towards getting 8 hours of sleep per night. I am slowly trying to reset my schedule so that I am asleep by 8:45pm, but my body is still hanging onto that 6.5 hour sleep and has me up at all crazy hours of the night! 3:30-4am is just too early in my book! Hahaha ⠀

The last few days were so nice hear (60+ degrees) and today we are back in the 30's. Thankfully, I was able to thaw out for a few days. It's really crazy how much the weather impacts my cravings. One day summer salads the next pasta.

On another note, since I haven't been able to workout due to my ribs, I have really been enjoying my mornings by taking them slow. I downloaded @headspace and started meditating and then read my devotional while sipping my ACV/Lemon water. It is really incredible how powerful a slow start with a little self-care can be! I do miss my morning workouts, but honestly, I am not minding the extra sleep and relaxation time. Does anyone else use @Headspace? Enjoy your night, friends! .⠀

It's been a crazy month. Between @GoodFoodMadeSimple and @MealPrepOnFleek life has been nothing short of insane. Plus, I have somehow managed to injured myself in one way or another every week for the last 3 weeks. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Poor @alyssapeabody is probably ready to toss me out the window at work. 😂 The worst was last Friday when I somehow managed to pop my rib out in RESTORATIVE yoga. Who does that? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Clearly this girl 😐  But, I finally turned a corner yesterday and am starting to feel much better thanks to the best chiro @WNChiro. 🙏🏻⠀

@fitchick428 WOW! What a crazy year 2018 has been! It has been filled with so much change and for all of that I am so thankful. From moving across the country to be closer to my favorite person in the world (my niece) and my family, to starting a new job that I absolutely LOVE with the best company (@goodfoodmadesimple) (and the most incredible team there -- you all know who you are 😉) and having tremendous growth on @MealPrepOnFleek with the best business partner and friend I could ask for, @ThatsNickQ. It has been nothing short of amazing. Through all of the good, I have 100% had my challenges, but the positives always outweigh the struggles. ⠀

My fridge is down to pretty much nothing except for leftover ham and lamb (which I am sick of at the moment), so grocery shopping is 100% in the plans for tomorrow. My gorgeous co-worker and I went to @Lymbr last night for our first stretch sessions. I will be honest, I was a bit nervous that they would try to bend my tight muscles like a pretzel, so we only got the 30 minutes session. But, let me tell you it was AMAZING! I could have stayed on that table for a full hour. I walked out feeling so much looser and definitely felt a change in my movement. My workout this morning was also much better! Does anyone else go to a stretching location in their area? What do you think about it? I am wondering how often I should go. I am off to make cookies today! Enjoy your Saturday! ⠀
