🍓breakfast:. I made a strawberry/rasp compote with the pink latte mix, a blue/blackberry mix for the blue majik mix and a tropical papaya + mango blend for the turmeric mix! and of course layered it all with my fave unsweetened coconut yogurt . !✨⠀

🥗lunch: Rotating two of my all time faves this week! With everything coming in season, I want to eat all the veggies! I made my dragon salad  with some epic dressing to go along with it (find the recipe on my feed!) and some baked tofu for extra protein! Along with some colourful fiesta salads to use up the rest of the amazing Blissed Out Black Bean Burgers I made last prep!  Y-U-M!⠀

🥙dinner:  The first is a garlicky-gluten free tahini-asparagus pasta dish using asparagus! 👇🏻⠀

I also made some rainbow veggies rolls that are easy to stored and bring on the go! Park days are back + all I want to do it be outside! ☀️ Finally my freezable for next week is jackfruit BBQ pulled pork. I'm going to freeze + reheat to make tacos, sandwiches or even use as a salad topper!⠀

🍫snack attack:  Created some sunrise orange-raspberry date muffins! No added sweetener and they are gluten and dairy free too!  My new chocolate-chip matcha tahini energy balls using white dragon matcha are the most satisfying treat for the warmer months! Finally, I needed a savoury snack! I've wanted to make @ohsheglows endurance crackers for so long and it was finally time! Packed with all the best seeds + topped with some hummus and avocado... another amazing meal prep recipe! ⠀

1. Don't be afraid to season the chicken filet properly. Experiment with new spices and green herbs think of ginger, garlic, chili, oregano, cumin. Not a spice fan? Pair chicken with a high-flavored sauce like barbecue, tamari, pesto or miso.⠀
2. This one is a common mistake: cook the chicken till done and not overdone. Dry chicken is no bueno!⠀
3. Don’t get carried away with too much flipping, squeezing or smashing the chicken. This can lead to loss of juices, which ultimately causes dry chicken.⠀

These labels place a judgement on food, and therefore on ourselves when we eat them. If we eat cake, we’ve been “bad”, but if we have a salad for lunch we were “good”. Let’s get this straight guys, bad food is all inedible food and good food is all edible food, it’s as simple as that😄. ⠀

It is important to understand that labeling foods feeds a shame cycle where you start to question what you eat and wonder if it meets an arbitrary standard of being “good” or “clean.” Assigning moral value to food threatens self-esteem. Our sense of self is not dependent upon what we ate or didn’t eat in a given day. The foods we eat, how much we exercise or a number on a scale cannot determine the value and worth we hold as human beings. We are inherently worthy of love and belonging regardless of how we eat or what our bodies look like.⠀

INGREDIENTS⠀
​1 pound skinless, boneless salmon⠀
1 tablespoon mayonnaise ⠀
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard⠀
Zest of one lemon⠀
2 scallions, chopped⠀
½ cup GF breadcrumbs⠀
Salt and black pepper​​⠀
2 tablespoons olive oil⠀
Bun, lettuce and tartar sauce for serving⠀
INSTRUCTIONS⠀
1. Cut the salmon into large chunks, and place in the bowl of a food processor. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and lemon zest and blend, stopping to scrape down the sides as necessary, until mixture becomes pasty.⠀
2. Fold in the scallions and breadcrumbs and season with salt and pepper.⠀
3. Shape into four burgers.⠀
4. Heat olive oil on medium heat on a large nonstick skillet with olive oil. Cook the salmon burgers for 2 to 3 minutes a side, turning once. I ⠀
5. Serve on buns with tartar sauce and lettuce, if desired.⠀

🔺Stay hydrated. Staying hydrated supports a healthy metabolism, making recovery more manageable for the body. Drink a large glass before bed and a few large glasses the next morning. It’s also advisable to keep a water bottle by your side over the next two days. Doing so will help flush out any excess salt that’s making you bloated.⠀
🔺Go for a workout. Exercising after a binge can help you get back on track. It may influence hormones that affect hunger and can improve your mood. Develop a regular exercise routine to help prevent yourself from binge eating in the future.⠀
🔺Fill up on veggies.Get back on track after a binge by filling up on vegetables. They’re high in fiber and may help promote weight loss and feelings of fullness.⠀
🔺Sleep it off. Sleep deprivation has been associated with increased food intake. It may also alter levels of hormones that influence hunger. Aim to get seven to nine hours of sleep per night.⠀

It's a super fast and easy breakfast combo to make on Sunday morning because you can eat some for brunch and pack the rest up for the next couple days! 😁 Two for one! #WINNING! 🙌 ⠀

Ingredients:⠀
6 large whole eggs⠀
6 slices @nueskes bacon⠀
200g @dutchyellowpotatoes ⠀
1/2 tbs olive oil⠀
s& p, as desired⠀

Method:⠀
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F⠀
2. Toss potatoes with oil, salt, and pepper⠀
3. Place on a baking sheet and roast about 20 minutes or until fork tender⠀
4. While potatoes are cooking, cook eggs as desired (we switch it up between scrambled, fried and omelet style)⠀
5. Pan fry your bacon after the eggs are done OR add it to your baking sheet and cook alongside your potatoes for ~15 minutes or until desired doneness (we like this method because then the bacon grease gets all over the potatoes 😍)⠀
6. Divide between 2 containers⠀
7. Finish off with a sprinkle of your favorite seasoning, if desired. ⠀
